Director of Discipline / Director of Competition – Jason Glover
Jason was born, raised, and spent most of his life in Georgia. Engaged with a variety of individual sports (cross country, wrestling, mixed martial arts) before and during his time in the US Marine Corps, Jason was not introduced to rugby until he moved to California in 2017. One week into watching his kid’s practice, Jason was approached by a member of the Temecula men’s team and asked to join. Hesitation soon turned to obsession as Jason found the sport he had always been looking for. After a season playing with the men, Jason took on an assistant coaching role with the Temecula u10s. That role soon developed into a Temecula Youth Board position, more playing time with the North Count Gents, additional coaching at u14/ u16, the role of Youth Director, and certification as a Rugby Referee. Jason’s unique “5 perspective” approach (parent, player, admin, coach, ref) combined with his meticulous and judicious nature serve him well in his role as VP of Discipline. Jason earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a graduate degree in Management & Leadership. He is employed as the Director of the National Archives’ Riverside Federal Records Center. He resides in Temecula with his wife Monica, three sons, and two step-daughters.
